PLOW TRUCK DRIVERS & CONTRACTORS
The Town of Barnstead is seeking plow truck drivers and contractors to perform on-call winter maintenance services for the
snowplowing season of 2023 – 2024. Applicants must have their own trucks, equipment and all applicable insurances.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT POSITION
The Town of Barnstead is seeking qualified applicants for a part-time administrative assistant (20-24 hours per week) performing a variety of secretarial functions and general administrative support functions for the Highway Department.
Minimum requirements include high school diploma or equivalent and formal experience in general office practices. The successful candidate will possess knowledge of modern office practices and equipment; be computer literate; proficient in Microsoft Office products & have the ability to learn additional programs; possess exceptional verbal, written communication, organizational, telephone & customer service skills; maintain accurate records and reports and be able to work under pressure in a busy environment.

EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT DIRECTOR POSITION
The Town of Barnstead (EOE), is seeking qualified applicants for the Emergency Management Director position. Candidates must be knowledgeable or certified in NIMS and ICS (RSA 21-P:52), have the ability to deal effectively with local and State governmental officials, be knowledgeable of the structure functions, objectives and interrelationships of Federal, State and local governments, and the ability to evaluate situations and exercise good judgment in making decisions.
The Emergency Management Director works under the direction of the Board of Selectmen. Some responsibilities include the development, maintenance and review of the local emergency operations plan; attending Emergency Management training courses and workshops; coordinating a training and exercise program to prepare the organization for emergency operations. This position is mostly volunteer with a yearly stipend and travel expense budgeted.
