Volunteers Needed for Capitol Improvement Committee

The Barnstead NH Planning Board is seeking letters of interest for volunteers on the
CIP Committee (Capital Improvement Plan). A background or an interest in budgeting
and municipal government needs is helpful. This volunteer position would meet
primarily in the summer and fall, evening hours. Work involves annual proposals on
long-term financial budgeting on capital items with a goal of keeping the town portion of
the tax rate somewhat level while ensuring the Town Departments have the equipment,
structures, and necessary items to provide excellent service to the Town. Letters of
interest may be dropped off at the Town Hall or mailed to: Office of the Planning Board,
