About Us
Barnstead Fire-Rescue is a group of dedicated individuals proudly providing emergency services to the residents and business owners and business owners of Barnstead, New Hampshire. Currently, we have nine Officers, six full-time staff members and several Per Diem staff members serving as Firefighters/EMTs and approximately 25 call members. Our backgrounds range from American Red Cross First Responders to Nationally Registered EMT-Paramedics and many have achieved their Firefighter Level I and/or Firefighter Level II certification. Our members continue to train regularly in fire, medical emergency and rescue training - both in-house and through the New Hampshire Fire Academy in Concord, along with other resources - to remain proficient in their skills and to address new and current concerns in the field of emergency services.

Over the past several years, we have seen increases in the number of requests for responses to emergency services and it is projected to increase as our community continues to grow.
