Horse and Carriage Theme
The theme for Barnstead's Old Home Day 2007 will be "Horse and Carriage". We plan to have a variety of horses and carriages arrive to the event in a short parade, and then be available for viewing. Do you have a horse and carriage? Would you like to be part of our Old Home Day parade and display? You can download a registration form from the town website at www.barnstead.org/About Barnstead. Or, you can contact Nancy at 435-8220 or Eileen at 435-6692. Registration forms are due by August 15, 2007. Proof of insurance is required.
As a reminder, Barnstead Citizen of the Year nominations are due by August 6, 2007. To nominate a candidate for Citizen of the Year, we request the following information: candidate's name, a description of their contributions to our community, a summary of the activities/organizations that they have been involved with, your name and address.
